By accessing or using CastMyAgent ("the Service"), operated by CastMyAgent LLC at castmyagent.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
CastMyAgent offers two kinds of material. Free Persona Pack Text Files are open source under the MIT License. Everything else is licensed under these Terms.
"Free Persona Pack Text Files" means, for each free walk-on persona, these text files, in the form published in the free walk-on downloads on castmyagent.ai: persona.json, system-prompt.md, README.md, quickstart/claude-code/CLAUDE.md (and the root CLAUDE.md in packs that include one), quickstart/gpt/instructions.md, and quickstart/gemini/system-instructions.md. The same text delivered another way, such as through the Partner API, is also Free Persona Pack Text Files.
CastMyAgent LLC licenses the Free Persona Pack Text Files under the MIT License, the text of which is included with those downloads. In plain terms: you may copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell copies of these files, including in commercial products, as long as you keep the copyright notice and the MIT License text with copies or substantial portions of the files. The files come with no warranty.
The MIT License does not cover the following, and CastMyAgent LLC keeps all rights in them (all rights reserved): the CastMyAgent name, logo, and other brand marks; the design, layout, and code of castmyagent.ai; headshot images; voice-reel.mp3 and every other audio file; and voice-config.json. You may not copy, redistribute, or sublicense Reserved Items. The MIT License gives you no right to use the CastMyAgent name or marks, except to say truthfully where a file came from.
If you download Reserved Items with a pack, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them as part of your own AI applications and workflows, including commercial and personal projects. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense them.
The Executive Producer Pass and its benefits (including the Call Sheet, quarterly updates, and team seats), paid personas, and any other item previously sold are Paid Materials. They are not covered by the MIT License. If you purchased Paid Materials, you received a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them in your AI agents and workflows, including commercial and personal projects, and to modify them for your own use. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense Paid Materials.
Some downloads include a notes file (voice-config.json) or an audio clip (voice-reel.mp3). They are background reference material for the persona write-up. CastMyAgent personas are text characters. Nothing in a download makes an agent speak, and CastMyAgent LLC does not offer speech for any persona. Audio files and voice settings are Reserved Items, and no right is granted to use them to create synthetic speech presented as a CastMyAgent persona.
The MIT License applies to Free Persona Pack Text Files however and whenever you got them, including copies downloaded before October 2, 2026. You may use an earlier copy under the MIT License.
For any Free Persona Pack Text File, the MIT License included with the free walk-on downloads governs that file. These Terms govern everything else, including the Service, accounts, payments, Reserved Items, and Paid Materials. The Acceptable Use rules below apply to your use of the Service and do not add conditions to the MIT License.
Walk-on persona downloads are free. The Executive Producer Pass is no longer for sale. Payments for past purchases were processed through Stripe.
To the extent CastMyAgent LLC holds rights in them, CastMyAgent LLC owns the personas, character briefs, headshots, reference notes, site design and code, and other content on CastMyAgent, unless otherwise stated. The Free Persona Pack Text Files are licensed to everyone under the MIT License, as described in Persona Licensing. Reserved Items and Paid Materials are licensed to you, not sold, and downloading or subscribing does not transfer ownership of them. Some content is generated with the help of AI tools, as explained in our Talent Disclaimer.
When you use the Service, you agree not to use CastMyAgent personas or the Service to:
CastMyAgent LLC provides downloadable persona packages, including system prompts, character briefs, and reference notes, that are designed to be used as inputs for third-party AI models and agent frameworks. CastMyAgent LLC does not operate, host, or control any AI model, agent, copilot, or workflow in which you deploy these personas.
You acknowledge and agree that:
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CastMyAgent LLC, its owners, operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of CastMyAgent persona files, including but not limited to claims arising from any action taken by, output generated by, or consequence of any AI agent or application in which you deploy CastMyAgent personas. This section applies to users of the Service. It does not add conditions to the MIT License.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. CastMyAgent LLC makes no warranty that any persona will produce specific, accurate, or desirable behavior when used with any AI model or agent framework, nor that any agent using a CastMyAgent persona will act within intended boundaries.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CastMyAgent LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, any damages arising from any action taken by, output generated by, or consequence of AI agents or applications that use CastMyAgent persona files, including unauthorized actions, data loss, financial losses, or service disruptions. In no event shall CastMyAgent LLC's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific persona package giving rise to the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any licenses granted for previously purchased personas will survive termination. Ending your account does not affect the MIT License on Free Persona Pack Text Files you already have.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. A copy of the Free Persona Pack Text Files that someone has already received under the MIT License stays under that license.
You may optionally ask to be emailed when new talent is added. That list is separate from downloads. Every walk-on stays free if you do not join. To unsubscribe, email support@castmyagent.ai or, once a notice is sent, reply to that message and ask to be removed. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
